May 13th, 2016.
It was fairly cold and cloudy the morning of Jon & Jessie’s wedding day. Being the first of our wedding season, the day came by so quick under our feet that we couldn’t believe the day had already arrived. One minute we were breaking ice over drinks in Starbucks, getting to know Jon & Jessie a bit more; the next it was finally time to bring out the cameras onto their wedding scene to do what we do best. We were more than excited-not only because it was time to film a wedding, but because both Jessie & Jon are two of the most down to earth, adorable, fun, smiles-always-on-our-faces kind of people we have ever met. We are in it for people like Jon & Jessie, and it’s always a pleasure spending the day with amazing people like these two.
We got into Niagara anticipating rain. The forecast was calling for rain, but that wasn’t going to stop Jon & Jessie from enjoying the day. What surprised us the most about these two was their “it is what it is” attitude. If it rained? No worries. “Who cares we will party,” Jon texted us. And you know what? The day turned out absolutely beautiful by mid-morning. The clouds cleared up and the sun warmed up the earth. The weather man always lies.
The entire day was filled with so many amazing moments, laughs, smiles, and an air of kinship that we didn’t want to leave at the end of the night. Everyone was so welcoming and cracked so many jokes with us that we felt like we knew everyone for years. It felt like we were a part of their family, and it’s always so bittersweet having to pack our things and go home. We had a great time with Jon & Jessie and we hope you enjoy their wedding film.
